My name is Jos Krick, born and raised in the Netherlands. I started taking pictures in the 70s.
After a seventeen year break from photography, I bought my first digital camera in 2003, a Sony DSC -F717.
This was a nice camera, equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens. After the Sony I switched back to the SLR camera, a Nikon D40x with an 18-105 and a 55-200 lens.
After having enjoyed photographing with the D40X for a number of years it was time for another challenge , I bought a more professional camera, a Nikon D700 full frame camera.
In the age of smartphone photography I can’t stay behind of course. With the high quality of today’s smartphone cameras you don’t always have to go out with your heavy camera backpack.
After using my Nikon D-700 for eleven years, I have updated my gear with a Nikon Z7 II full-frame mirrorless camera.
